Oakmont Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1924. The course was designed by Max Behr. William P. Bell, William F. Bell and David Rainville have each taken their turn redesigning Oakmont Country Club golf course.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6736 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5985 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 17, a par-5 that plays to 571 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 176 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, a 410 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Oakmont Country Club golf course is # 15, a 355 yard par-4.
